WBMS: Global refined tin market recorded a surplus of 4,900 mt in September 2025

On Wednesday, November 19, the latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) showed that global refined tin production reached 32,500 mt in September 2025, while consumption stood at 27,600 mt, resulting in a supply surplus of 4,900 mt.  

On Wednesday, November 19, the latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) showed that global refined tin production reached 32,500 mt in September 2025, while consumption stood at 27,600 mt, resulting in a supply surplus of 4,900 mt. From January to September 2025, global refined tin production totaled 260,200 mt, and consumption reached 269,500 mt, leading to a supply deficit of 9,200 mt.

Global tin mine production amounted to 27,200 mt in September 2025. Global tin mine production totaled 223,100 mt from January to September 2025.
